i wish i had been there. i'm a huge fan of Ray Stevens. i've often wondered why some wonder if he's still alive. i suppose people assume anyone out of the public eye is no longer living? Ray was 33 when he put "The Streak" on the market in 1974. It was as you mentioned a #1 hit. It also hit #1 in England and #3 on the country chart. my web-site/blog site goes in detail about every facet of Ray's career from the beginning in 1957 through his most recent album, "Hurricane", released on his own record label, Clyde Records. there was a wrestler named Ray "the Crippler" Stevens who passed away back in 1996...but for those in tuned with country music and country comedy, Ray is alive and well. he's noted for his comedy music video's now instead of his recordings.

Dear Ryan, Mike and Peter,

Many Many thanks to you guys for heading up and being a part of our gathering at Masten this year.
It will be as they say, one for the record books. It can be easily said that it would not have been the same. I sincerely hope that you enjoyed hanging out with us crazies as we enjoyed hanging out with you.

Take care,

Harry ~ Jackstraw
